www.jayarama.us/kd/abc.txt) (rev. 2011 Apr 17) <> The (ABC) is the heart of the Anjana Suta Academy (ASA). It is probably not like any curriculum you have ever experienced before. Because you can only understand "Srimad Bhagavatam" when you become a madman like Lord Caitanya. ===================================================== TABLE OF CONTENTS (TOC) 1. BASIS 2. GOAL 3. CURRICULUM 4. CLASS LEVELS 5. CALENDARS 5.0 GENERAL SCHEDULE5.1 DAILY CLASS SCHEDULE 6. INSTITUTIONS 7. ARCHIVES ===================================================== 1. BASIS Books are the basis. However, we accept two Mantras as sufficient. We, Hanumatpresaka Swami, Anjana Suta Academy, directly heard from the lips of our spiritual master that anyone who chants: Sri Krsna-caitanya, Prabhu Nityananda, Sri Advaita, Gadadhara, Srivasa-adi-gaura-bhakta-vrnda, and follows it with: Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare / Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare has achieved the perfection of life. However, to accelerate the process and if we want to teach, then we also should read books. The basic book for us is the "Nectar of Instruction" (NOI) by Srila A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. 2. GOAL We want to become engage in helping Lord Caitanya with His mission. See the "Introduction" of the NOI for more details. 3. CURRICULUM We are eternally refining our American Bhagavata Curriculum. Basically it is "Kirtaniya sada hari", constant chanting of the Holy Names of the Lord. See NOI, Text 1, Paragraph 6, for more details (NOI 1.6). Besides the Holy Names we recite the NOI whenever possible and use it as a Study Guide for approaching the other books of Srila Prabhupada. Tava-pache-pache Series There are several songs by Srila Bhakti-vinode Thakura in "Gita-vali" (maybe "Saranagati") glorifying the NOI. One is in the BBT "Songs of the Vaisnava Acharyas". It starts with "Ohe, Vaisnava Thakura..." and finishes with the phrase, "Dhai tava pache pache", we are running behind you chanting, "Krsna, Krsna". So, we, ASA, are writing a series of Study Guides for Srila Prabhupada's Vaisnava library titled, "Tava-pache-pache". [ttd] A list of these is in the Archives section that follows. 4. This opinion is probably based largely on the transitory nature of our society. These short Topical Seminars can be integrated into a general structure. In general we look at the Bhakti-sastri Curriculum as two years and Bhakti-vaibhava as four years. 5.1 DAILY CLASS SCHEDULE (Flexible) Full morning and Evening Programs.
